At its core, Faeria offers a complex yet rewarding system that combines aspects of traditional card games like Magic: the Gathering with unique gameplay elements.

The battlefield is a hexagonal grid surrounded by water. Players must create lands each turn, upon which they can summon creatures. The types of land include neutral earth hexagons, steppe, desert, forest, mountains, or lake.

Unlike other TCGs, the energy in Faeria, called “Faeria,” doesn’t burn at the end of a turn or increase by itself. Players must strategically manage their energy and make decisions that can affect later stages of the game.

Creatures can be used to fight, but specific characters, known as harvesters, are utilized to gather additional energy and provide passive abilities.

Players gradually fill the cells of the battlefield, expanding their territory and marking areas. This dynamic creation of the battlefield adds another strategic layer to the gameplay.

Pandora is a unique booster selection mode where players can apply deck-building skills and compete against the computer or other players.

Over 100 hours of single-player and cooperative missions and puzzles challenge players to earn unique rewards and test their skills.

Faeria successfully combines RPG strategy with collectible card game mechanics to provide a fresh and engaging experience. The careful balance of strategy, deck-building, and tactical warfare offers depth without becoming overly complex. Whether taking on AI or other players, Faeria’s gameplay is immersive and rewards thoughtful play.
