Developer GG Studio recently initiated a Kickstarter campaign for its forthcoming tactical RPG, Hidden Pass. Positioned as drawing influence from popular titles such as XCOM 2, Into The Breach, and Heroes of Might and Magic III, the game unfolds in the fantastical realm of Averon, comprising multiple floating islands. Players assume the role of leading an expedition in the Elyrium Belt – an area rich in a valuable mineral that has piqued the interest of numerous factions seeking to harness its remarkable properties.
Within Hidden Pass, gamers engage in turn-based battles, managing a party of four units that can advance in levels and acquire new abilities. Beyond combat, players can amass resources, craft new units, upgrade equipment, and advance technologies. Noteworthy gameplay elements involve exploration of diverse islands and the establishment and administration of various structures.
Targeted for PC development, Hidden Pass’s Kickstarter campaign aims to secure €10,000 (approximately $10,700) in funding by June 18, 2024. The title is anticipated to become available on Steam in the latter half of 2024.
