Square Enix has announced today that Dragon Quest Treasures, the popular treasure-hunting adventure, is now available on PC through the Steam platform.
This enhanced version of the popular treasure-hunting adventure, following the childhood escapades of siblings Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, has also been officially verified for the much-anticipated Steam Deck.
Dragon Quest Treasures brings to PC an improved gaming experience featuring enhanced graphical fidelity and framerate. The game promises an unforgettable adventure in the siblings’ quest for the seven fabled Dragonstones in the mystical world of Draconia.
In this exciting journey, Erik and Mia are accompanied by their endearing companion creatures, Purrsula and Porcus, and a team of recruitable monster pals. Players can employ the unique abilities of these monsters to discover hidden treasures and access previously unreachable areas. The game’s strategy involves defending against rival monster gangs until the treasure is safe to transport back to the siblings’ home base for appraisal.
Gamers are incentivized to collect treasure, as it increases their vault value, allowing for the expansion of their home base and the build-up of their brigade of friendly monsters.
To celebrate the launch, Square Enix is offering bonus in-game items for those who purchase the Steam version of Dragon Quest Treasures from now until July 28, 2023. The items, including the Chimaera Wing, Better Buddy Bullet, and Fullheal Pellet, are designed to enhance the player’s adventure experience.
Dragon Quest Treasures is available for purchase now on Steam for PC and on Nintendo Switch. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a full game download of Dragon Quest Treasures, plus three monster allies and batches of Bestest Buddy Bullets and Omniheal Bombs.
